Collaboration in the field of chronic diseases
European Commission supports the Member states in their efforts in the field of chronic diseases up to 2020. New Joint Action is financially funded by the EU with 6,8 mil. EUR. The objective is to implement the recommendations that were developed in the previous Joint Action Chrodis. This includes, for example, the dissemination of good practice and the implementation of pilot tests. In addition, there are new measures such as adapting the mHealth application developed in Germany and testing it in primary health care in Spain and Bulgaria.
