JA-CHRODIS was present at the 18th European Health Forum Gastein, a three-day event held on 30 September to 2 October 2015 in Austria. The Forum is one of the most important health-related event in the European Union and a meeting point for experts from different fields within the health system. Co-leader of the multimorbidity work, Rokas Navickas contributed to the session Facing Multimorbidity: Challenges and Responses on Day 2, sharing essential facts and key trends of co-morbidity across Europe. Even though the consequences of multimorbidity are huge, they have not been researched to a great extent and the tendency to exclude multimorbid patients from general clinical trials research is preventing to collect good data on them.
