The Executive Board is comprised of the JA-CHRODIS Management Team, work package leaders and European Commission and EC Consumer, Health and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA) representatives. The Executive Board oversees the Joint Action. Executive Board Members meet in person every six months and via teleconference on a monthly basis. Executive Board meetings are, where possible, organised to coincide with work package meetings or the General Assembly.
The Advisory Board is comprised of European experts nominated and selected by Executive Board members. It will advise and support the Joint Action on content and methodology to ensure optimal overall scientific quality of all components. The Advisory Board meets once a year.
The Governing Board (GB) is comprised of nominated representatives of health ministries of Member States. The GB is responsible for developing a sustainability plan based on keeping chronic diseases at the forefront of the political agenda for health after the end of the Joint Action. The Governing Board also meets once a year.
