For its final conference, JA-CHRODIS organised a one and a half day event which tool place in Brussels on the 27th-28th of February.
The first half-day addressed JA-CHRODIS’ work and outputs, and explored how the outcomes of this European collaboration can be used and taken up.
The second day focused on the bigger picture of the challenge of chronic diseases and on how to champion health policies across Europe. During the sessions, panelists and speakers addressed various questions, such as how the Joint Action can fit with and benefit the EU strategy on chronic diseases, what can be done to achieve a chronic disease-free Europe, health systems sustainability and the role of policy makers in addressing the challenge of chronic diseases and ageing society.
