Las Vegas will be the host city of the Chronic Disease Prevention & Management in Primary Care conference from 2-5 March 2017, organised by Contemporary Forums.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), chronic diseases and conditions, such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and arthritis, are among the most common, costly, and preventable of all health problems in the nation. This conference will address these conditions with chronic disease experts. Participants will have a great opportunity to enhance their knowledge on prevention, guidelines, best practices and recommendations to manage chronic diseases. Panels of clinically active faculty members will discuss practical strategies to improve the health, outcomes and quality of life of your chronically ill patients.

The four-day event will:

• Evaluate current approaches to treat chronic conditions including liver and cardiac disease, impairment of mental capabilities, osteoporosis and arthritis.
• Recognise the health risk behaviors that cause chronic diseases, as well as how to reduce the impact of these chronic conditions on patients’ lives.
