Vilnius University Hospital Santariškių Klinikos, co-leader of the Joint Action’s work on multimorbidity, organised the conference “Networks of Health Institutions – the Best Response to the European Regional Policy”, which took place on the 26^th of January in Vilnius, Lithuania. EU Commissioners Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis (Health and Food Safety) and Corina Creţu (Regional Policy) were present, together with representatives from Vilnius University, the Ministry of Health of Lithuania, and health care institutions and non-governmental organisations.

The conference aimed to share exceptional examples of European regional policy, and to the ways in which high-level Lithuanian health care institutions can contribute to regional policy-making and to the implementation of models of prevention and management chronic disease at European, regional and national levels.

The Conference was held at the Vilnius University Hospital Santariškių Klinikos, in the Red Auditorium (Administration building).
