SUMMARY:EConDA final conference – dissemination of project results
DESCRIPTION:EConDA organises a final conference to disseminate the project results that will be held on 22th September\, 2015 in Brussels. Across Europe chronic diseases account for 86% of all deaths each year\, though rates vary between and within countries due to stark inequalities in health. Chronic diseases have a large impact on health care costs throughout the European Union. The EConDA project\, co-funded by the European Commission Consumers\, Health and Food Executive Agency\, has as its key aim to aid EU Member States to develop\, select and implement more cost-effective policies to improve chronic disease prevention and impact upon populations with the highest rates of premature deaths from chronic diseases and reduce health inequalities. \nThe conference will be preceded by 5 National Workshops: \n\n3 September\, Sofia – Bulgaria\n10 September\, The Hague – The Netherlands\n14 September\, Lisbon – Portugal\n16 September\, Warsaw – Poland\n18 September\, Kaunas – Lithuania\n\nFor further information and registration\, click HERE\n \nConference AGENDA\n \n
